The first American made system to offer a permanent lateral sealing in relined pipelines.

Leaking sewer lines have been a problem for many years. When manhole to manhole liners entered the market, it was hoped that infiltration and root intrusion would be stopped. But in many cases the problem reoccurred because water and roots, migrated to the lateral openings between the liner and the old pipe.
Today, the TOP SEAL system uses a Polyester impregnated corrosion resistant fiberglass insert to permanently stop this problem. It reaches 6 - 8" into the lateral and creates a 3 inch "brim" in the main pipe. The Epoxy component added as a glue to the fiberglass achieves superior sealing even on wet surfaces.

A second use is where reopening of the lateral creates a hole in the lateral pipe wall, or where the first hole in the reopening was cut outside the lateral opening. The last case is solved with a full wrap installation covering up till 19 inches in the main line.

A complete TOP SEAL solution package contains:

  • Cable reel with 600 feet of multi conductor cable with built in air line
We offer the equipment mounted in 16' trailer with separate operator room or equipment delivered for mounting in customer's vehicle.

All equipment sales include proper field training of customer's staff.

Delivered pre-impregnated with a UV light reactive Polyester resin. It comes wrapped in a black plastic foil and can be stored at room temperature for up to 5 months.
Standard sizes are for 4 and 6 inch laterals.
The unique laminate construction guarantee the minimum thickness.
Top Seal Applicator with laminate
Shows the laminate mounted and the Epoxy sealant applied. It is now ready to enter the pipe. 		  top seal
top seal   Top Seal Sectional Liner System
Uses a cylindrical applicator wrapped with a pre-impregnated fiberglass laminate. It is inflated to fit tightly into the pipe and the UV-light cures the liner in 7 minutes!
Top Seal Trailer
Equipment mounted in 16 ft. insulated trailer, 8000 Watt generator, operator room with air condition, control panel and TV monitor.
